Told from peeta mellark's point of view:
As soon as I found Katniss and Finnick I walked right between them. They were either about to become alliances or they were about to kill each other. I acted like nothing was wrong. I didn't want anyone to fight.
"So how many are dead?" I ask.
Katniss responds, "Hard to say. At least six, I think. And they're still fighting."
"Lets keep moving," I say, "We need water."
We haven't found water yet and I'm getting dehyrdated. The others look thirsty too.
"Better find some soon," says Finnick, "We need to be undercover when the others come hunting us tonight."
We all started walking up the hill. I knew that right now they weren't going to kill each other. I walked ahead of them using my knife to cut the branches. The jungles was thick. My arm started to get tired. I got more thirsty as we walked up. Then out of nowhere my knife hit something. It shocked my whole body and I felt myself fly backgrounds as I was knocked out. The next thing I knew I was on the ground and Finnick was leaned over me.
"Peeta?" Katniss had flung herself at me. She was crying and told me my heart stopped. She said Finnick had brought me back to life. I cannot belive that Finnick saved me, he didn't have to. I felt very disoriented and we sat there for awhile. In the downtime, Finnick was nice enough and made me and Mags wooded crutches.
